Exchange value

There's no teacher and no student here. The exchange goes both ways — every meeting is designed so that each person brings something the other genuinely needs.

A Czech local brings: the language, knowledge of how Prague actually works, what to do at the doctor's office, which neighbourhoods are real, how Czech bureaucracy thinks. An expat brings: English, an outside perspective, contacts, and experience of living somewhere completely different.

Some examples of what this looks like in practice:

• "Help me understand this letter from the tax office"  ↔  "Correct my English CV"
• "Show me where locals actually eat"  ↔  "Tell me about your city"
• "How do I register at the doctor?"  ↔  "Teach me a phrase in your language"

This isn't a transactional app where you track favours. It's a community — trust builds gradually, over more than one beer. Some people become friends. That's the goal.
